Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Scissor Operator to support crews using the MBI scissor lift and assist in roofing and construction tasks. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and contributing to high-quality buildings across sites.

The job requires a Class B CDL with airbrake, ability to travel up to 90% of the time, and capability to lift up to 100 lb. You will work with a team to maintain safety and efficiency on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Active Class B CDL with airbrake endorsements.
• Pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 40 ft.
• 90% travel, including overnight stays.
• Carpentry and/or roofing experience or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge to operate heavy equipment.
• Able to work well independently.
• Must meet 275 lb weight limit safety requirement.

Responsibilities

• Schedule truck for designated projects, primarily roofs and ceilings.
• Collaborate with crew in a safe, organized, productive environment.
• Schedule truck for designated projects; some travel required.
• Potential for training and certifications on additional equipment.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance per GE guidelines.
• Follow Morton Buildings' procedures and processes.
• Submit monthly vehicle reports with receipts.
• Adhere to safety procedures: overhead lines and fall protection.
