Job summary

Morton Buildings is seeking a Scissor Lift Truck Driver and Operator to support construction crews in McKinney, TX. The role involves operating the scissor lift, transporting materials, and aiding roofing tasks while protecting safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsements, pass DOT screening, and be capable of 90% travel including overnight trips. Experience in carpentry or roofing is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Maintain an active Class B CDL with airbrake endorsements.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Capable of operating heavy equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Travel requirement: 90% with overnight trips possible.
• Experience in carpentry or roofing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule trucks for designated projects, primarily roofs and ceilings.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and construction plans.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance schedule per guidelines.
• Provide vehicle reports and receipts monthly.
• Support and follow Morton Buildings’ procedures and processes.
• Comply with fall protection and overhead power line safety.
