Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Scissor Lift Truck Driver and Operator to support crews building post-frame structures. You will operate a scissor lift, assist with roofing, follow safety policies, and help maintain construction standards across projects.

The position requires a Class B CDL with airbrake endorsements, ability to travel up to 90% (potentially two weeks away), and physical fitness to lift up to 100 pounds. ESOP benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Active Class B CDL with airbrake endorsements
• DOT physical and drug screening required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, occasionally 100 lb
• Travel up to 90% with overnight stays potentially two weeks
• Experience with heavy equipment is preferred
• Willingness to learn carpentry/roofing tasks

Responsibilities

• Schedule trucks for projects, mainly roofs and ceilings
• Work safely with crew ensuring productive environment
• Maintain vehicle maintenance per GE guidelines
• Submit monthly vehicle reports and receipts
• Follow Morton Buildings procedures and safety rules
• Adhere to fall protection and overhead power line safety
