We are seeking a Licensed Clinician Supervisor for our SCIP program in Suffolk, VA!
Licensed Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enforce clinical and administrative policies, ensuring compliance and resolving escalated issues.
- Mentor and evaluate staff to promote professional growth and service quality. Foster accountability and collaboration.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions.
- Supervise the SCIP team delivering individual, group, and family therapy for behavioral health disorders.
- Handle scheduling, clinical supervision, training, marketing, and accurate service reporting.
- Preferred: EMR and Medicaid experience; diagnostic assessment and ISP completion; service eligibility determination.
- Assist with chart reviews and documentation compliance.
- Maintain documentation per regulations and agency policy.
- Conduct therapy sessions for students.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student mental health.
- Coordinate services and referrals between school, families, and community resources.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other school-based supports. Maintain clinical documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.
- Follow confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Offer psychoeducation on mental health topics.
- Support development of preventive mental health programs and workshops.
- Professional Development and Team Involvement: Attend supervision, staff meetings, and training.
- Stay updated on best practices, research, and trends in child and adolescent mental health.
Qualifications and Skills for Licensed Clinician:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field required;
- Licensed Clinician LPC or LCSW
- A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a human services field preferred;
- Experience in a mental health setting preferred;
- Valid current driver’s license and acceptable DMV record
