Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer to implement security plans for national security information and coordinate with government and DoD requirements across SCI programs.

The CPSO will cover physical, personnel, and information security, participate in policy implementation, and lead security training and audits. Candidates should have a DoD clearance and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related
• Active US DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site security support for classified programs at the L3Harris facility in Nashville, TN.
• Provide leadership on special projects that cut across the business and the company, to include assisting with security process standardization.
• Implement security policy consistent with the Company, DoD, and other Government regulations.
• Maintain and coordinate excellent working relationships with internal customers, external customers, and government agencies while interacting on all classified matters.
• Ensure all required security support for SCI level programs and manage operations of SCIFs in accordance with directives.
• Provide program security support including physical, personnel, operational security, access control, information system security, training, classification management, and document control.
• Provide day-to-day execution of all security functions for the program."
• Develop and implement an effective security education, training, and awareness program via multiple venues.
