Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to provide day-to-day security support for SCIF and SAP construction efforts. The role emphasizes oversight of access control, surveillance, and adherence to security SOPs.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of related security experience, ICD-705 familiarity or the ability to train, and an active SECRET clearance with potential TS/SCI polygraph in scope.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in security or construction surveillance.
• SFPC certification counts toward 3 years of experience.
• SPSC certification counts toward 5 years of experience.
• SPED Certifications max 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of ICD 705 on SCIFs and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess threats, identify vulnerabilities, and suggest improvements to policies and procedures.
• Draft security incident reports and brief leaders and agencies.
• Manage escort personnel and training; ensure timely reporting of incidents.
• Enforce customer SOPs and site security duties as directed by site lead.
• Inspect construction materials and document steps for accreditation packets.
• Monitor and photograph the construction of secure spaces for documentation.
