Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to provide day-to-day security for SCIF/SAPF construction efforts. Responsibilities include assessing risks, drafting incident reports, managing escort personnel and enforcing SOPs, plus inspecting materials for secure spaces and documenting accreditation steps.
Required 1–2 years of related security experience with a willingness to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and eventually TS/SCI with polygraph.
The Construction Surveillance Technician’s primary function is to provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction efforts.
Performance shall include:
1-2 years related experience
Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)
Bachelor’s degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.
Must obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start and be willing and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph.
Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (i.e., OSHA 10 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 30 days of hire.
