Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to provide day-to-day security for SCIF/SAPF construction efforts. Responsibilities include assessing risks, drafting incident reports, managing escort personnel and enforcing SOPs, plus inspecting materials for secure spaces and documenting accreditation steps.

Required 1–2 years of related security experience with a willingness to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and eventually TS/SCI with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related security experience.
• Knowledge of ICD 705 and SCIF compliance is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; counts toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, identify, and communicate recommendations to improve policies and systems.
• Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks on site.
• Draft security incident reports and brief agencies and leaders.
• Manage escort personnel, train staff, and report incidents to site lead.
• Enforce customers' SOPs and perform admin support for the site.
• Inspect materials for use in secure spaces and document processes.
