Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area required.
  • Eight (8) years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree; Six (6) years with a Master's; Three (3) years with a PhD.
  • PhD preferred (with at least 5 years of postdoctoral experience) in molecular biology or synthetic biology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer cell lines using CRISPR gene editing for knockouts and knock-ins and confirm edits.
  • Generate stable cell lines using non-viral and viral delivery systems.
  • Develop stable target-overexpressed cell lines, pools, clones, and perform NGS library preparation.
  • Demonstrate proven cloning ability with multiple platforms; manage large/complex DNA constructs and libraries.
