Qualifications

• PhD in Stem Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or related field.
• Experience working with human and/or non-human primate iPSCs or ESCs.
• Experience deriving, culturing, expanding, differentiating, and characterizing stem cells.
• Proven ability to independently design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments.

About the Opportunity

Oculus Group is partnering with a well-funded biotechnology company developing advanced stem cell platforms to tackle important problems at the intersection of developmental biology, cell engineering, and genomics.

The team is seeking an exceptional hands-on scientist with deep expertise in pluripotent stem cells and a track record of independently driving complex experimental programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot complex stem cell biology experiments
• Develop and optimize pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation workflows
• Advance approaches for cell-state control, lineage specification, and developmental progression

Qualifications

• PhD in Stem Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or related field
• Extensive experience working with human and/or non-human primate iPSCs or ESCs
• Experience with stem cell derivation, culture, expansion, differentiation, and characterization
• Proven ability to independently design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments
• Experience developing or optimizing differentiation protocols
• Strong experimental judgment and attention to detail
