Job summary

Natera is seeking a Scientist to join the Molecular Biology Research Team, developing assays behind the next generation of cancer diagnostics. You will design and run epigenomics‑based studies and biomarker discovery efforts to expand Natera’s oncology portfolio.

This role suits someone with hands‑on NGS experience, strong molecular biology foundations, and a drive to impact patient care. You will lead projects, collaborate with bioinformatics and statistics partners, analyze data, and present

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with molecular biology techniques and NGS.
• Experience in assay development or biomarker discovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop and optimize assay workflows, including planning and troubleshooting.
• Independently tackle moderate‑to‑complex problems and propose solutions.
• Design study plans and propose next steps based on results.
• Own timelines and deliverables for your work and adapt as needed.
• Analyze and QC your experimental data and guide subsequent experiments.
• Collaborate with statistics and bioinformatics teams on complex analyses.
• Communicate findings to peers and leadership through reports and presentations.
• Document progress under a Quality Management System.
