Natera in California is seeking a Manager of Bioinformatics to lead the Bioinformatics team focused on Oncology Product Development. You will guide the design, development and validation of ctDNA-based diagnostic tests and collaborate across biostatistics, molecular biology, software engineering and commercial groups.

The ideal candidate will have a strong bioinformatics and data science background with leadership experience, and a track record in LDT assay development or related areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years of post-graduate experience in data science or bioinformatics.
• 1-3 years of experience as technical lead in diagnostics or related field.
• Experience moving algorithm-based products through commercialization and launch.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership for product development projects across cross-functional teams.
• Lead optimization of workflows and analysis pipelines for diagnostic tests.
• Supervise bioinformatics and data science staff and develop their skills.
• Provide input on experimental design, analysis and interpretation.
• Set standards for rigorous data analysis and documentation.
• Contribute to intellectual property and strategic project milestones.
