Summary

Seeking a motivated Scientist to join and to collaborate with researchers towards the identification and validation of therapeutic immuno-oncology and aging targets. Research will be conducted in close collaboration with multidisciplinary scientists. We provide stimulating and collaborative working environment focused on fundamental discovery research and a commitment to translate scientific advances to realize their therapeutic potential.

Responsibilities
  • The selected candidate will design, create, and conduct innovative approaches in the immuno-oncology field.
  • The ideal candidate will develop and utilize both in vivo models and in vitro primary cell assays and will also contribute expertise to various cross-functional activities.
  • A successful candidate will have a strong background in fundamental immunology and be passionate about making scientific discoveries and advancing technologies.
Requirements
  • PhD in biological sciences (ie. immunology)
  • Requisite skills include prior experience with mammalian cell culture, human and mouse primary immune cell culture, multi-color flow cytometry, protein biochemistry
  • Requisite skills also include strong understanding and experience with performing mouse in vivo work (including tumor inoculation, growth monitoring, tissue collecting and processing, adoptive transfer, IP, IV, SC, PO) across diverse animal models (tumor and other diseases)
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze data and present findings
  • Accountable, meticulous with attention to detail, and able to multitask
  • Strong teamwork and proactive communication skills
  • Self-motivated and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with CRISPR editing and bone marrow chimeras
