Job summary

eGenesis is seeking a Scientist II to advance single-cell and spatial genomics analyses in engineered organs and immune contexts. You will lead design and interpretation of scRNA-seq and spatial experiments, integrate multimodal data, and develop scalable analytical pipelines in a collaborative translational setting.

The role emphasizes translating biological questions into computational analyses, presenting findings, and contributing to publications and patents.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field is required and must have strong research experience.
• 3+ years of postdoc or industry experience analyzing single-cell and spatial data.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for statistics and visualization.
• Experience leading computational projects from design to interpretation.
• Experience analyzing spatial transcriptomics data from platforms like Visium/ Xenium/ Trekker.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and interpretation of scRNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics experiments.
• Integrate multimodal datasets to illuminate tissue architecture and immune interactions.
• Develop scalable pipelines for high-dimensional datasets.
• Collaborate with wet lab scientists, immunologists, and clinicians.
• Translate questions into computational analyses and testable hypotheses.
