Job summary

Immix Biopharma, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Scientist II specializing in lentiviral vector expertise for in vivo cell therapy. You will develop and produce lentiviral vectors for gene transfer in research and pre-clinical studies.

The role requires hands-on cloning and viral vector construction and design of novel vectors. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred, with 2–3 years of molecular biology experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of molecular biology techniques related to cloning and viral vector construction.
• In vivo lentiviral CAR-T construction experience.

What You’ll Do

The development and production of lentiviral vectors necessary for gene transfer in research experiments and pre-clinical studies. Expertise in developing vectors that fit with individual project requirements; design and manufacture of novel vectors and purified recombinant retrovirus and lentivirus.

Knowledge and proficiency with standard molecular biology cloning techniques.

Skills and Experience we look for

• At least 2-3 years of experience in molecular biology techniques of cloning and viral vector construction
• In vivo lentiviral CAR-T construction
