Description

The Bioanalytic Group within Preclinical Development is seeking a motivated bioanalytical scientist to join the Regulated GLP PK Bioanalytical group. This position will be based in West Point, PA.

Responsibilities

1. Validate and utilize chromatographic tandem mass spectrometric assays and ligand binding assays to measure drug levels in biological matrices to support sample analysis.
2. Responsible for method validation and preclinical sample analysis.
3. Ensure GLP compliance. Support assay protocol and validation report preparation.
4. Communicate results effectively to team members and supervising principal investigators.

Qualifications

• Scientist 2: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of experience in biological sciences or related discipline in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Scientist 3: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in biological sciences or related discipline in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Required Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with chromatographic tandem mass spectrometric and ligand binding assays, including bioanalysis of large molecules by mass spectrometry or other comparable bioanalytical workflows.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting executing wet lab-based activities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with regulated bioanalysis principles and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Experience supporting the analysis of biological matrices.
• Familiarity with liquid handlers and automation platforms for sample preparation and assay processes.
• Commitment to working safely in a laboratory environment.
