Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Scientist I for Organic Prep in Environment Testing. The role is full-time with an hourly compensation range and first shift hours (M-F, 8am–5pm). The candidate will perform routine chemistry prep, analysis, data recording and instrument maintenance under close supervision.

Requirements include a BS/BA in chemistry or related field (3 years lab experience may substitute). Strong English communication and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years of laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate.
• Performs routine lab tasks including sample prep, chemical analysis, data calculation, data recording and reporting.
• Maintains compliance with EH&S and QA standards.
• Trains and becomes competent on instrumentation such as GC, GC/MS, atomic absorption, ICP and related data systems.
• Works under close supervision using routine methods; weighs samples and washes glassware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
