Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Scientist I for the SVOA Environment Testing unit in the United States. The role is full-time with an hourly compensation range of USD 20.15–USD 27.00, on the first shift (M-F, 8am-5pm).

Minimum qualifications include a BS/BA in chemistry or related field and strong English proficiency; US work authorization is required. Candidates with lab experience in GC/GC-MS, AA, or ICP are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years of lab experience may substitute for degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Performs routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods and programs.
• Preparation of samples using standard techniques and chemical analysis.
• Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Performing routine instrument maintenance.
• Washes glassware and aliquots and weighs samples.
