Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an entry- to mid-level chemist to perform routine laboratory tasks on a first shift (M-F, 8am-5pm). The role involves sample preparation, chemical analysis, data calculation, and reporting under supervision, with opportunities to train on GC, GC/MS, AAS, ICP, and data systems.

Ideal candidates will have a BS/BA in chemistry or related field and English language proficiency, plus the ability to work independently and follow established protocols.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate.
• Performs routine lab tasks including sample prep, chemical analysis, data calculation, and data reporting.
• Performs routine instrument maintenance and records unusual test occurrences.
• Complies with EH&S and quality assurance standards; maintains work area housekeeping.
• Learns to operate and become competent on complex instrumentation (GC, GC/MS, AAS, ICP).
• Washes glassware and prepares aliquots and weighed samples.
• Follows safety protocols and performs other duties as assigned.
