Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Scientist responsible for performing analyses in biochemistry, reviewing data, and validating new processes in a fast-paced lab.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field, has prior laboratory experience, and can work independently as well as part of a team. Monday–Friday with additional hours and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Job Description

Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

• Perform a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine) primarily but not limited to the biochemistry test areas of Biopharmaceutical Services
• Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular, cell biology, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience required
• Prior laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed.
