Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, is hiring a Analytical Chemist to perform diverse testing using chromatographic systems and validate methods. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field and 2 years of cGMP pharmaceutical experience.

Responsibilities include GMP documentation, method transfers, and staff training, with occasional travel to client sites. First shift, full-time, on-site work in Lancaster.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
  • 2 years of pharmaceutical experience in a cGMP environment.
  • HPLC and validation experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

  • Perform testing using chromatographic systems and various instrument platforms.
  • Execute specialized analyses and method transfer and feasibility testing.
  • Document work for GMP compliance.
  • Produce written reports (SOPs, client reports).
  • Develop and execute validation plans.
  • Carry out method transfers and feasibility studies.
  • Train technical staff.
  • Travel to client sites for technical meetings as needed.

Job Description

Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

  • Perform various type of testing using chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus
  • Execute specialized analyses and method transfer and feasibility testing
  • Document work as required for GMP compliance
  • Perform tests accurately
  • Troubleshoot method and instrumentation problems
  • Use office and instrumentation specific computer software
  • Produce written reports (e.g., SOP, OMC, client reports)
  • Develop and execute validation plans
  • Carry out method transfers and feasibility studies
  • Train technical staff
  • Some travel to client sites for technical meetings could be required
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or other related degree concentration
  • 2 years of related pharmaceutical experience in a cGMP environment
  • HPLC and validation experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
