Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Scientist to perform a wide range of biochemistry analyses within Biopharmaceutical Services, reviewing data for acceptability and supporting method setup.

You will work independently and as part of a team, maintain accurate records, comply with company policies, and participate in extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular or cell biology, or related life sciences.
• Prior laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine) primarily in biochemistry within Biopharmaceutical Services.
• Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability.
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.

Job Description

Scientist responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of analyses (routine and non‑routine) primarily but not limited to the biochemistry test areas of Biopharmaceutical Services
• Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department

Qualifications

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular, cell biology, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience required
• Prior laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
