Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Indianapolis, IN seeks a laboratory technician to support cell culture and screening tasks in a fast-paced biotech setting.

You will perform passaging, banking, plate screening, and data analysis; use flow cytometry, imaging, and standard cell biology techniques; maintain accurate records and communicate results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of lab experience
• Strong aseptic technique
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques
• Ability to work independently and in a team with internal/external clients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Cell culture support: passaging cells, banking, expression studies
• Plate screening: 96-well formats, hit picking, antibody capture
• Operate equipment: cell counters, metabolite analyzers, titer measurement, liquid handlers
• Perfom phenotypic assays, flow cytometry analysis, and software reports

Job Description

• Cell culture supporting cell line generation - passaging cells, banking, expression studies (shake flask/bioreactor studies)
• Plate Screening – whole cell 96 well plate formats, hit picking/consolidation, antibody capture
• Equipment experience – cell counters, metabolite analyzers, titer measurement, liquid handlers
• Phenotypic suitability assays, flow cytometry analysis, and software analysis and reports
• Imaging automation and data mining
• Overall general lab support - order media/materials, restocking supplies, eLN documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
• At least 1 year of experience in the lab setting
• Strong aseptic technique
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Experience in molecular and cell biology lab techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, andapositive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Proficiency in IT-related skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Additional Information

• Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00PM.Overtime as needed.
• Tasks require repetitive motion and standing for long periods of time.
• May be required to respond to off-shift operational issues.
