Job summary

Eurofins PSS is seeking an Electrophoresis and Protein Chromatography scientist with hands-on lab experience to support analytical testing. This role emphasizes routine studies, material prep, data analysis, and process characterization for early to late stage programs.

Responsibilities include performing CGE and HPSEC analyses, applying critical thinking to optimize workflows, maintaining compliant docs, and potentially contributing to ADC projects in an OEB4 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on lab experience in biopharmaceutical protein analysis.
• Experience with protein analytical techniques including CE-SDS/CGE and HPSEC/SEC-HPLC.
• Preferred: strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience with protein stability assays and non-GMP development environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support analytical testing of biopharmaceutical products using CGE, HPSEC and related protein characterization techniques.
• Communicate observations, risks, and process improvements with scientific ownership.
• Maintain accurate documentation in a method development environment.
• Collaborate on ADC projects and other OEB4 materials as needed.

Job Description

Position Summary:

Eurofins PSS is seeking an Electrophoresis and Protein Chromatography scientist with hands‑on lab experience to support analytical testing. This role focuses on executing routine lab studies, preparing materials, analyzing data, and supporting process characterization for early- and late-stage programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform and support analytical testing of biopharmaceutical products using CGE, HPSEC and other related protein characterization techniques.
• Apply scientific ownership and critical thinking to evaluate workflows and proactively communicate observations, risks, and process improvements
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within a method development environment
• May be expected to work with Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) projects in Occupational Exposure Band 4 (OEB4) and/or OEB5, as well as other OEB4 materials

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline
• At least 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in biopharmaceutical protein analysis
• Experience with protein analytical techniques, including:
  • CE-SDS / CGE
  • HPSEC / SEC-HPLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with buffer prep, protein handling, and assay execution
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience with stability assays, including thermal or colloidal stability assessments
• Hands‑on experience with analytical instrumentation such as:
  • CGE, HPSEC, SDS‑PAGE, CE‑SDS, cIEF, and related protein characterization techniques
• Experience working in a method development or non‑GMP development environment
• Exposure to automation or high‑throughput workflows a plus
