Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking an entry-level Scientist 1, Analytical Chemistry, for a 12-month contract in Salt Lake City, UT. The role is 40 hours/week on the 1st shift with a pay rate of $20-$30/hr under a W2 arrangement.

You will perform analytical testing and lab work supporting design, development, QA, and pilot-scale manufacturing of medical device products. A STEM Bachelor’s degree and some lab experience are required; strong communication and quick learning ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• Experience or exposure to laboratory work is preferred.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports.
• Strong communication skills and fast learning ability.

Roles

• Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products. Support current products in roles of quality, research & development, pilot-scale manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement.
• Focus will be on analytical chemistry and chemical work in the lab.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM major (Examples: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science).
• Experience / understanding of working in a lab. Lab work experience a strong plus.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports.
• Strong communication skills
