Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc seeks an entry-level Analytical Chemist to support GLP-compliant nonclinical investigations for a Medical Device client in RTP, NC. The role is a 6-month contract (W2) with 40 hours/week at $20–$30/hr, first shift, on-site.

The analyst will perform routine sample analyses, support material control initiatives, and prepare reagents, maintain GLP records, and assist in technical writing of study reports.

Job Description

• This position will function within the Chemical Sciences Unit of Corporate Preclinical Development and Toxicology (CPDT) and will participate in/support the conduct of nonclinical laboratory investigations of medical devices and materials in accordance with GLP regulations and the BD CPDR Quality System.
• The incumbent will perform routine sample analysis, as well as investigational studies to support material control initiatives.
• performs qualitative and quantitative analyses
• performs sample preparation, including multiple forms of sample extraction conducts routine and non-routine analytical chemistry studies utilizing HPLC, Karl Fischer, Light Obscuration, and bench chemistry
