Job summary

Medical Device Company in Research Triangle Park, NC seeks a Scientist 1 in Analytical Chemistry for a 12-month contract. You will join an R&D team focused on chemical and materials aspects of medical devices, with 40 hours per week and first shift.

The role requires hands-on lab experience, knowledge of spectroscopy and HPLC/UPLC, and the ability to design, execute, and document experiments while communicating results clearly to a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience with chemicals and materials.
• Familiar with spectroscopy (fluorescence, UV, IR) and HPLC/UPLC.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to design, execute, and document experiments.
• Ability to interpret and present scientific data.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary team.
