Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking a laboratory professional to contribute to downstream bioprocess operations in a research setting. The candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in a lab environment focusing on nanoparticles, tangential flow filtration, and filtration steps.

The role emphasizes strong wet chemistry skills, detailed record keeping, and collaboration across teams to advance purification of large molecules and process characterization studies in GMP/GLP environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with adjuvant and LNP processing is a plus.
• Tangential flow filtration in a lab setting (microfiltration/ultrafiltration).
• Understanding downstream bioprocess purification of large molecules.
• Understanding purification operations of large complex molecules.
• Bioprocess scaling principles knowledge.
• Wet chemistry techniques: pipetting, buffers, filtration, dilution, stoichiometry.
• Strong technical writing and laboratory record-keeping.

Job description

Shift: Monday Thru Friday (8 AM to 5 PM) – 40 Hours/Week

NOTE

Client would like to maintain a focus on experience in a research setting. Less experience/moldable candidate will fit the role best with a good fundamental background. Looking for experience with Nanoparticles, Downstream bioprocess, TFF, Filtrations, Extrusion, Homogenization.

BS in Science, Engineering, or related field heavily preferred.

Experience and Skills

• Experience working with adjuvant and LNP processing a plus
• Experience working with tangential flow filtration processing – microfiltration/ultrafiltration comfortable in a lab environment.
• scientific understanding of downstream bioprocess purification processes.
• Scientific understanding of purification operations of large complex molecules.
• Technical understanding of bioprocess scaling principles
• Wet chemistry laboratory skills (pipetting, buffer preparation, filtration, dilution, stoichiometry)
• Proficiency with technical writing and laboratory records (laboratory notebooks, chemical inventory, data management)
• Excellent collaborative and team-working skills
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities, data interpretation and presentation competence

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience working with analytical instrumentation (plate readers, densitometers, thermocyclers, cIEF, UV/Vis spectrophotometers, HPLC/ UPLC systems)
• Experience with laboratory operations
• Experience working in an industry environments
• Experience conducting laboratory scale process characterization studies
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues (experimental, equipment-related issues)
• Experience in method development and method transfer
• Experience working in GMP and GLP environments
