Serving as a trusted scientific communications and editorial resource, this individual translates complex research, program accomplishments, and technology innovations into compelling, audience-appropriate communications products. Working closely with NOAA leadership, researchers, scientists, program managers, and stakeholders, the ideal candidate combines exceptional writing and editing skills, scientific literacy, and strategic communications expertise to communicate NOAA's research outcomes to policymakers, Congress, the weather enterprise, and the public.
