Job summary
RA Capital is seeking a Business Systems Analyst, Scientific & Venture Systems to support Raven and Venture teams. You will translate research workflows into practical technology solutions, configure scientific platforms, and automate processes while collaborating with scientists, investors, and business stakeholders.
The role blends business analysis, platform administration, and software implementation, requiring quick learning and strong communication across technical and non‑technical
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience configuring scientific data platforms (LIMS/EDC).
- Experience reading, writing, debugging code and working with REST APIs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with scientists and stakeholders to map workflows, gather requirements, and translate needs into specs and configurations.
- Administer business and scientific systems, including CDD Vault and LIMS/ELN configurations.
- Develop and maintain scripts and API integrations; use SQL to query and validate data.
- Deploy and manage Notion Teamspaces and project templates for RAven projects.
- Plan and conduct system testing, train users, and drive improvements.
