Eljen Technology is seeking a dynamic Scientific Sales Specialist to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas. You will promote and sell organic scintillator products, educate customers on applications, and build strong client relationships across industries.

The role requires technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with travel as needed. This is a full-time, in-person position offering growth opportunities within a growing company.

Eljen Technology is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Scientific Sales Specialist to join our Eljen team in Sweetwater, Texas!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of organic scintillator products to existing and potential customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients in various industries.

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory or market segment.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the benefits and applications of organic scintillators.
• Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements related to radiation detection.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree preferred, but not a requirement
• Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in scientific instrumentation, radiation detection, or related fields
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex scientific concepts
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
