Job Overview: The Scientific Director will lead and oversee the research programs, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals. This role involves setting research objectives, managing a team of scientists, and liaising with key stakeholders to drive scientific excellence.

MUST HAVE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) EXPERIENCE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement research strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
• Team Management: Hire, mentor, and manage a team of researchers and scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Research Oversight: Oversee all phases of research projects, from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with sponsors, key personnel, and external partners to secure funding and support for research initiatives.
• Scientific Communication: Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and other public forums, presenting research findings and building relationships with the scientific community.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all research activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in scientific research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful research project management and publication.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Minimum of 1-2 Years of experience in CME.
• Open to therapeutic category but could be working across oncology, infectious disease, dermatology, and/or ophthalmology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in securing research funding and grants.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in scientific research.
• Strong network within the scientific community.
