Job summary

Basecamp Research in Boston is seeking a highly capable Technical Program Manager, Science, to join our CSO team, embedded within the Chief Scientific Officer’s organization. This role coordinates Innovation Science, Genetics and Genotoxicity, driving cross‑team projects and ensuring operational efficiency in a fast‑paced biotech startup.

You will optimize processes, manage partnerships, oversee tooling and data pipelines, and align scientific milestones with model development cycles, reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical operations or program management in tech/biotech.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams and improve processes.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with life sciences concepts and data pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across data, science and biology teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement tools to boost operational efficiency.
• Manage external partnerships and joint research projects.
• Oversee tooling, data pipelines, and knowledge bases for technical teams.
• Support budgeting and resource planning to enable rapid growth.
• Collaborate with regulatory and pre-clinical stakeholders when needed.
• Promote knowledge sharing and maintain streamlined communications.
