Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking passionate science teachers for New York City’s top-performing network of K-12 charter schools. You will join a team committed to preparing students from low-income neighborhoods to be thoughtful thinkers and leaders.

We provide extensive training and a proven curriculum so you can focus on your students. Teaching certification and Master’s degrees are not required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy (a background in education is not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
• Ability to work in person in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Lesson planning and instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
