Qualifications

• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and use lesson plans conforming to charter curriculum.
• Ensure plans accommodate differences in learning styles.
• Teach subjects per California DOE guidelines and charter policies.
• Implement instructional strategies and use appropriate materials.
• Develop activities based on data from student assessments.
• Collaborate with special education staff on IEPs.
• Coordinate charter requirements for goals and methods.
• Prepare teacher aide and volunteer assignments.
• Utilize technology to strengthen instruction.
• Coordinate and manage extracurricular duties as assigned.
• Supervise and support students’ development.
