Job summary

DSST Public Schools is seeking a Science Teacher for middle and high school campuses across Denver and Aurora. You will deliver NGSS-aligned science instruction using OpenSciEd (and Savvas where offered), plan 3–5 classes daily, and collaborate with ELD/Special Education staff to ensure access for all learners.

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Demonstrated content knowledge meeting applicable in-field qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, engaging science instruction using NGSS-aligned curriculum.
• Develop scientific thinking through hands-on investigations and evidence-based explanations.
• Collaborate with ELD/Special Education to differentiate instruction and support all students.
• Assess student growth and adjust instruction based on performance data.
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that supports student confidence as scientists.
• Participate in regular instructional coaching and school-wide initiatives.
