Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science (master’s degree preferred).
• Experience teaching Science in a school.
• Experience teaching at the middle school level preferred.
• Independent school teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Evidence of establishing positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Familiarity with using technology in education strongly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science courses throughout the school year at both campuses.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons using diverse instructional strategies.
• Create, administer, and grade assessments (quizzes, tests, projects, exams).
• Provide individualized feedback and tutoring during office hours.
• Take attendance and maintain a respectful, structured learning environment.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and progress reports.
• Collaborate with Science department and other faculty; attend meetings.
• Serve as Academic Advisor and participate in school activities and initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
