Responsibilities
  • Establish a culture of high expectations, including the belief that every student will attend college
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with California State Standards and Aspire Guidelines
  • Assess students regularly and differentiate instruction based on data and needs
  • Communicate with students and families, involving them as partners
  • Identify student needs and collaborate to improve instructional practices
  • Participate in professional development and work with colleagues and coaches
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • California teaching authorization in science
  • English Learners Authorization
  • NCLB Highly Qualified status
  • 1+ year of teaching or related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of State Standards, child development, and learning styles
  • Ability to analyze student data and reflect on teaching practices
Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $70,013 to $125,368 based on experience. Benefits include paid time off, health coverage, life insurance, retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance. Aspire is committed to equity and nondiscrimination.
