Data Recognition Corporation is seeking a Test Development Specialist in Science to develop domain-specific test items, blueprints, and ancillaries. You will collaborate with senior staff to ensure on-time delivery, facilitate item writer workshops, and support bias reviews and alignment studies.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential. Preferred candidates hold a science degree (BS/BA) with 3+ years teaching experience in grades 6-8 or high school science, and have solid Microsoft

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science or related field; MS preferred.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience in grades 6-8 or high school science.
• Knowledge of content area standards and test development processes.
• Experience with item writing, test forms, and bias reviews is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to work in teams or independently.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with senior staff to deliver assigned items, tests, and steps in the development process.
• Develop domain-specific specifications, blueprints, item specs, and style guides.
• Facilitate item writer workshops and guide staff and contractors as needed.
• Write, review, revise, and edit test items; develop scoring guidelines.
• Support final review, sign-off, and alignment studies for test forms.
