Job summary

SpaceX in Washington, DC seeks an Industrial Security Officer (MDSO) to manage SCI security within a fast-paced SCIF environment. You will coordinate with FSO and government customers to ensure compliance across SOPs, DD254s, and OPSEC.

The role requires a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a strong understanding of NISPOM and related policies, and the ability to drive security requirements across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years security experience in lieu of degree.
• 1+ years of security experience in SCI environment.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own all SCI security aspects within a SCIF environment.
• Support FSO in day-to-day collateral security requirements.
• Support all program security aspects of SCI missions (SOPs, OPSEC, PPPs, DD254s).
• Issue subcontractor DD254s and enforce DD254 provisions.
• Coordinate SCI indoctrinations/debriefings.
• Engage with Mission Management and government reps to meet deliverables.
• Prepare annual refresher, indoctrination, and exit briefings as required.
• Collaborate with Engineering to explain program classification & protection requirements.
• Maintain accountability of program materials and support inspections.
• Conduct security inquiries and incident reporting.
• Stay updated on security trends and policy changes; implement improvements.
• Attend and support customer meetings and working groups.
