SpaceX in Washington, DC is seeking an Industrial Security Officer (MDSO) to manage SCI security for fast-paced programs. You will support SOPs, OPSEC plans, DD254s, and contractor DD254s, while coordinating indoctrinations and debriefings.

INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST (MDSO)SpaceX is looking for a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer (MDSO) to serve as a Security Analyst within our Washington, DC office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.RESPONSIBILITIES:Own all SCI security aspects within a fast-paced SCIF environmentSupport FSO in day-to-day collateral security requirementsSupport all program security aspects of our SCI missions, to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC plans, PPP’s, DD254’s, etc.Enforce DD254 provisions and own the issuance of subcontractor DD254sCoordinate SCI indoctrinations/debriefingsPartner with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are metCreate and update all annual refresher, indoctrination, and exit briefings as needed in accordance with policy and government customer requirementsPartner with Mission Management and Engineering teams to enhance their understanding of the program classification and other protection requirementsPossess a strong understanding of SCG development and the ability to influence customer determinationsMaintain accountability of associated program materialsPrepare for and successfully execute compliance inspections, including self-inspectionsConduct security-related inquiries and incident reportingKeep abreast of the latest security trends and policy updates, implementing innovative solutions and processesAttend and support various customer meetings and working groupsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree; OR 3+ years of security experience performing NISPOM-related security responsibilities in lieu of a degree1+ years of security experience performing responsibilities specifically within a SCI environmentActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug, and alcohol testingPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s or Master’s degreeStrong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other related security policies and proceduresFamiliarity with DISS, NBIS, TALON, and Scattered CastlesFamiliarity with SIMSADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraphAbility to travel in support of mission requirementsWillingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestonesCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay Range:Level 1: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00Level 2: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
