Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field; OR
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Public Health, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field and at least one year of professional experience in a social service agency.
• Minimum two years of experience providing alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention programming for youth.
• At least one year of experience as a site coordinator or in day-to-day prevention program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual strategic plans with partnering school districts to address identified prevention and intervention needs.
• Deliver engaging classroom presentations, small group sessions, and individual skill-building services promoting healthy decision-making and resilience.
• Collaborate with school personnel to identify at-risk students and facilitate interventions and referrals.
• Provide training, consultation, education, and support related to prevention interventions.
• Coordinate and support on-site delivery of school-based prevention and early intervention services.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.
