Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience as a mechanic.
• Must pass an annual physical and dexterity exam as prescribed by the DOE School Transportation Management Section.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a CDL License with passenger and school bus endorsement within 3 months of Employment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug screenings.
• Must provide written references upon the request of the Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanic work on all School Board owned vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in safe working condition and operating efficiently.
