Job summary

Sunrise Transportation is seeking van drivers to transport students to and from school in Wilton, CT. No experience is required; training will be provided to become a licensed and certified Van Driver. You’ll help move children safely and learn our route systems with GPS.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CT driver’s license for 3 consecutive years and in good standing.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willing to train and pass a company road evaluation.
• Proficient at using or willing to learn wheelchair lift or related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Driving a van to transport students safely and courteously.
• Picking up and dropping off students using a route sheet or GPS.
• Performing pre-trip/maintenance according to state standards.
• Completing DVIR daily and reporting defects.
• Other duties as needed to get the work done.
