Sunrise Transportation in Wilton, CT is hiring school bus drivers to transport students safely and respectfully. If you hold a CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsement and have a clean driving record, we’d like to meet you. Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Age 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Willing to undergo drug screen and physical.
• Subject to DOT drug testing (49 CFR Part 40).
• Able to work in a diverse, high-pressure environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van or large vehicle to transport students safely and courteously.
• Pickup/dropoff passengers on schedule.
• Adjust routes to avoid heavy traffic or road construction.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Job DetailsJob Location: Wilton, CT 06987ECS, a division of Sunrise Transportation Company, is looking to add safe and friendly school bus drivers to help transport our passengers. If you have a CDL license with Passenger & School Bus endorsement, and a clean driving record, we would like to meet you! We are not only looking for amazing Drivers who will help us in the mission to move our children forward but want someone who wants to move their career!

What we’ll trust you with:

• Driving a van or large-sized vehicle to transport students safely and in a courteous manner.
• Picking up/dropping off passengers in a timely manner
• Adjusting the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction.
• Delivering the best customer service to our passengers
• Other duties as needed to get the work done successfully.

What matters most for this role:

• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Be subject to a drug screen and physical.
• Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
• Have the willingness to work in a diverse organization with many high-pressure situations.
• You are a quick learner and have professional written and oral communication skills.
