Job summary

Rohrer Bus is seeking a School Van Driver to safely transport students to and from Selinsgrove Area School District in PA. The role emphasizes timely, courteous service, adherence to DOT regulations, and professional communication with school personnel.

Experience with fleet tech like Samsara and Dayforce is a plus. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip safety checks, route adherence, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Comfortable using fleet and workforce technology systems such as Samsara (GPS/vehicle tracking) and Dayforce (scheduling/HR)

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and courteously following laws and policies
• Follow routes and schedules to pick up and drop off students
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
• Maintain a safe, orderly passenger environment and enforce rules
• Assist students boarding and exiting, including mobility devices
• Report delays, defects, or incidents promptly
• Attend safety trainings and drills as required
