Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of driving experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle.
• Must have a clean driving record and practice defensive driving.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Transport students to and from school, activities, and events.
• Clean inside and outside of the vehicle daily.
• Obey traffic laws and observe safety regulations.
• Ensure passenger safety and maintain discipline on the vehicle.
• Conduct periodic emergency evacuation drills.
• Follow a predetermined route and driving schedule.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle and buildings.
• Report dangerous stops, turns, or passenger issues to the dispatcher.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor or Transportation Director.
