Job summary

Ringgold School District is seeking a Van Driver to ensure safe, efficient transport of students on prescribed routes and schedules. The role requires a PA driver’s license, the ability to assist students, and adherence to all safety and district rules.

Responsibilities include maintaining route sheets, conducting vehicle checks, and reporting any incidents promptly while upholding confidentiality and teamwork within the transportation team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Must pass drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school van to pick up children at various locations and transports them to and from school.
• Assists students with disabilities or other students in need of assistance for safe on/off loading.
• Follows safety rules and traffic laws; maintains discipline and confidentiality.
• Keeps route schedule, roster, mileage, and emergency information up to date.
• Performs pre/post trip vehicle inspections and reports needed maintenance.
