Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a student transportation van driver for Ellington Public Schools in Connecticut. The driver will transport students on in-district and out-of-district runs, ensuring safety and punctuality.

Required are a valid Connecticut driver's license, ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug testing, and endorsement options (V or PS). CDL with PS endorsement also accepted. Physical and mental demands include long periods of sitting and driving in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Connecticut driver's license.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug testing.
• V Endorsement or willingness to obtain endorsement in collaboration with the district.
• CDL with PS endorsement will also be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily pre-trip inspections, fueling, and keeping the vehicle clean.
• Safely transporting students to and from school while ensuring safety and punctuality.
• Occasionally complete paperwork related to student conduct/behavior.
