Ellington Public Schools is seeking a Van Driver to transport students on district routes in Ellington, Connecticut. Pay is $19.42 per hour, full-time, with a focus on safety and reliable service.

Applicants must have a CT driver’s license, pass DOT physical and drug testing, and hold or be willing to obtain a V Endorsement; CDL with PS endorsement is accepted. Duty includes inspections, safe transport, and occasional paperwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut driver's license.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug testing.
• Must have PS endorsement or be willing to obtain endorsement from the school district.
• CDL license with PS endorsement will also be accepted.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily pre-trip inspections, fueling, and keep vehicle clean.
• Safely transport students to and from school while following laws and regulations.
• Occasionally complete related paperwork about student conduct/behavior.
